Introduction To Yoga

Yoga is an ancient practice that originated in India thousands of years ago. It is a holistic system of physical, mental, and spiritual disciplines that aims to achieve harmony between mind and body. Asana (Physical postures), Pranayama (Breathing exercises), Pratyahara (Sense withdrawal), Dharana (Concentration), Dhyana (Meditation), and Samadhi (Union): These are the practices that help cultivate inner peace and ultimately lead to liberation.

2. Modern Principles of Yoga:

Beyond the classical framework, several other principles are often emphasized in modern yoga:
